Integrity Check-up Workshop

"Integrity and firmness are all I can promise. These be the voyage, long and short, shall never forsake me."
George Washington, April 1789

in•te•gri•ty: whole, undiminished, unimpaired, undivided, unadulterated, uncorrupted, unbroken, sound, complete
Integrity is a most powerful asset, It is every person's true north on their ethical compass. An individual's personal work on integrity grows a noble character. Working on it with others grows trust. Momentarily forgetting integrity in the pursuit of short term gain can destroy a lifetime of good works. Remembering it while addressing tough decisions and circumstances reaps endless respect from others.

in•te•gri•ty: Its work is never complete. Integrity is not a prize won; it is a virtue practiced by individuals active in the day-in-day-out commerce of businesses, organizations, agencies, collaborations, communities, governments and nations. As a yardstick offering a mirror for self reflection, integrity can be a transparent, demanding taskmaster. As a tool in the mission work of organizations, it can be the benchmark that defines sustained marketplace success.

in•te•gri•ty: For the individual integrity encompasses honesty, respect for self and others, responsibility, fair mindedness. For organizations its tasking includes teamwork, accountability, perseverance and vigilant communication. Integrity embraces self-management and pursues an organizational culture that values the talents and skills of individuals working creatively and productively in shared purpose.

in•te•gri•ty: What does it look like as an interactive, educational workshop... the ethical edge INTEGRITY CHECK-UP? The check-up is a 2 ½ hour group experience of thinking, conversation, reflection and reporting intended to capture an organizational pulse of the perception of the workplace culture of integrity.

in•te•gri•ty: Does the ethical edge INTEGRITY CHECK-UP provide an exact measurement of workplace culture? No. The workshop is not a diagnostic test. The workshop is an experience of shared observation that captures the integrity pulse of an organization working together to explore ethical insights focused on how the organization communicates trust among all stakeholders who deliver the organization's mission, goals and objectives to the business and professional marketplace.
